Atomic Forged Pistons are our most commonly used pistons for builds to around 800hp but they can handle much more! They're made to Atomic's design by Icon Pistons and are available in standard-ish (8.7:1) and high compression. They feature friction reducing side skirt coating and have a revised crown and skirt profile to reduce noise around TDC. These pistons are VERY quiet even when the engine is cold due to our revisions to the crown and skirt edge. The valve reliefs are designed to accomodate high lift cams and the wrist pin is slightly offset to reduce wear and noise. These pistons will easily handle 1200hp and are an excellent choice for most street engines that see track occassionally.
